The fire blazed high and engulfed the entire bedding production and business factory in Thanh Hoa, trapping a 19-year-old female student. Although she was rescued, the victim later died.
The bedding factory fire occurred around 8:30 AM on August 16, in Thach Trung village, Quang Trach commune, Quang Xuong district, Thanh Hoa province.

At that time, many people heard an explosion followed by columns of black smoke rising high from the factory area of about 400 m2, which housed a two-story home of a local family in Thach Trung village, Quang Trach commune.
Upon discovering the blaze, local residents attempted to extinguish it with a mini fire extinguisher but were unsuccessful. Just minutes later, flames and thick black smoke engulfed the factory.

Upon receiving the report, the Fire Prevention and Fighting Police and Rescue Police, Thanh Hoa province police, dispatched two firefighting vehicles along with dozens of officers and soldiers to the scene to extinguish the fire and rescue individuals.
At the time of the fire, a 19-year-old female student named N.T.L.A. (currently a first-year student) was trapped inside.

Firefighters quickly arrived at the scene to extinguish the flames and rescue individuals, but unfortunately, the victim did not survive.
Although rescue teams managed to bring her outside and quickly took her to the emergency hospital, the victim later died.
By more than 10 AM on the same day, the fire had been brought under control, and authorities are investigating the cause and assessing the damage.
