Urban experiences mentioned include viewing Hanoi from the Lotte Center observation deck, shopping at inexpensive markets, admiring heritages such as the Imperial City of Thang Long - a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and experiencing its lively nightlife...
Besides Hanoi, Singapore (5th) and Bangkok (39th) are the other two Southeast Asian representatives in the top 100. The top position of this year's list goes to London – the capital of the United Kingdom, followed by Paris and New York.
