GDVN - Nearly 20 exciting entertainment events rich in the colors of Hanoi will be organized to serve residents and tourists during the 2/9 holiday.
For this National Day holiday on September 2, 2024, workers will enjoy a 4-day break, from Saturday (August 31, 2024) to the end of Tuesday (September 3, 2024).
To attract tourists, the Hanoi Department of Tourism has issued a directive for businesses, organizations, and individuals engaged in tourism activities in Hanoi to review and enhance the quality of tourism products and services, as well as to develop new products that meet the needs and preferences of tourists to be ready for service.
Accordingly, tourist spots along with entertainment facilities in Hanoi have actively prepared infrastructure to improve service quality, organize activities, and prepare manpower to serve the influx of tourists visiting, enjoying, and shopping.
Kicking off is a series of activities led by the Department of Tourism, in coordination with other units, such as: the Hanoi Tourism Gift Festival 2024 from August 23 to August 25, at the pedestrian street space on Trần Nhân Tông Street, Hai Bà Trưng District.
The program "The Ao Dai Connecting Tourism with Hanoi Heritage" will take place from 5:30 AM to 9:00 AM on September 1, at the Thang Long - Hanoi Heritage Conservation Center and some streets in Ba Đình, Hoàn Kiếm, and Long Biên districts.
On September 2, Hanoi will distribute 28,000 gift packages containing bread, milk, and water for visitors to the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum.
In Thanh Oai, Mê Linh, Thường Tín, Nam Từ Liêm, and Hoàn Kiếm districts, artistic performance programs will be held to celebrate the National Day, organized by the artistic units of the Hanoi Department of Culture and Sports.
This year, in addition to familiar tourist spots in Hanoi such as: the Temple of Literature - Quoc Tu Giam, Hoan Kiem Lake area, Thang Long Citadel, One Pillar Pagoda, Thủ Lệ Zoo, or strolling around the central streets to admire the ancient tranquil streets, new locations including the Lotte Mall West Lake entertainment complex, Vinhomes Ocean Park, and suburban tourist areas also promise to attract visitors to Hanoi during the most beautiful autumn of the year.
