The international fireworks festival in Da Nang - DIFF 2024 will return to the city by the Han River in June 2024 with 8 teams, including Germany competing for the first time.

DIFF 2024 will be organized by the People's Committee of Da Nang City in cooperation with the Sun Group. The venue for DIFF 2024 will be the same as in 2023, including the Han River Port area (shooting site) and the sidewalk area of Trần Hưng Đạo street (art performances).
DIFF 2024 is expected to have 8 participating teams, including 7 international teams from the following countries: France, Italy, Poland, Finland, the USA, Germany, China, and the Da Nang team representing Vietnam.

DIFF 2024 will have 5 competition nights, including 4 qualifying nights and one final night. Each night, the teams will have 20 minutes to showcase their fireworks performances according to the theme of each night determined by the organizers.
The opening night is scheduled to take place on June 8, with subsequent fireworks nights held every Saturday evening in the following weeks (one week off before the final night). The final night of DIFF 2024 is expected to occur on July 13.
2024 will mark the 12th year of DIFF being held in Da Nang. The general theme of DIFF 2024 is currently in the selection process, but the leaders of Da Nang City emphasized that DIFF 2024 will aim for the message of a peaceful, just, harmonious, and humanistic society.
