The Northern provinces have sunny days and no rain at night. Meanwhile, many places in the Central region are experiencing heavy rain and rising floods.
According to the National Center for Meteorology and Hydrology, from now (October 16) to October 17, the Northern provinces will have sunny days and no rain at night, with cold weather in the evening and early morning. From October 18, a cold air mass will move in, causing the weather to become overcast with scattered rain and thunderstorms; it will be cold, with mountainous areas experiencing chilling temperatures at night and in the morning.In the Central region, on October 16-17, there will be light rain in the northern part; specifically, the provinces from Ha Tinh to Binh Dinh will experience moderate to heavy rain with common rainfall of 50-250mm, with some places exceeding 400mm; particularly in the Da Nang, Quang Nam, and Quang Ngai regions, there will be heavy to very heavy rain with common rainfall of 250-450mm, with some areas exceeding 700mm. From October 18, the rain is expected to shift northward.
The Central Highlands and Southern region will have weather with many clouds during the daytime, with localized showers and thunderstorms, and occasionally sunny periods in the afternoon. In the late afternoon to evening, there may be moderate to heavy rain in some places.
