According to the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, today (October 31), the provinces in the Northern region will have sunny weather during the day and some rain at night; it will be cold at night and in the early morning.

In the Central region, today the North will have scattered showers and thunderstorms; especially from Ha Tinh to Phu Yen, there will be moderate to heavy rain. Flooding is likely to occur on the rivers from Ha Tinh to Quang Ngai. There is a high risk of flash floods and landslides in mountainous areas, localized flooding in low-lying areas along rivers, and urban areas.

The Central Highlands and Southern region will have a mix of sunny and rainy weather today, with scattered showers and thunderstorms in the late afternoon and evening, and heavy rain in some places.

In addition, water levels along the Eastern coast of the Southern region are trending upward, with the highest level at Vung Tau station possibly reaching 4.20m. Low-lying areas, riverbanks, and areas outside flood control dikes along the Eastern coast of the Southern region could be flooded due to high tides in the early morning and afternoon, increasing the risk of saltwater intrusion in the rivers in the Southeastern region.
