The weather is a bit chilly, and having a bowl of hot bánh trôi tàu would be just perfect. The monsoon is coming, and thinking about it makes me want to hop on my bike to eat it right away because I'm craving it

I stopped by a shop right on Hàng Điếu because I read reviews and many people praised it. The bánh trôi tàu consists of three quite large round pieces, with a soft and smooth dough. The owner was both making and selling them. A bowl costs only 20k, and the ginger syrup is fragrant, slightly spicy, and thankfully not too sweet—very nice to eat
My friend also enjoyed the sắn chè even though she's not a sweet tooth; the bowl is full for 15k, with plenty of rich coconut cream, and it’s just the right amount of sweetness.
The shop also has black bean chè, bà cốt chè, mixed chè, grapefruit - sliced, and longan lotus seeds. Let’s take advantage of this weather to go eat, everyone!
